According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), some boys hailing from different areas including Rajouri, Poonch, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand have got stuck from last couple of weeks at Budgam. Yasir Ahmad, one of the students, hailing from Rajouri district said that he along with his some students have got stuck in Budgam and are presently living in a rented room at Ompora Chowk near Jamia Masjid in Budgam district. “As the lockdown is being observed, we are running short of food stuff and have nothing to eat,” Ahmad told—KNO, adding that they tried to approach the concerned Deputy Commissioner (DC) but were not allowed to meet him as some of the security personnel deployed outside his office didn’t allow them to go inside with a written demand. “We want either the government to provide us facilities at this point of time or evacuate us to our homes,” he said, appealing the administration to look into the matter.
